3rd Annual Charity Bowling Event
One of the best parts of Sporty Mommas is our love for giving back. Each year we are dedicated to raise awareness and funds for charities that impact women. On September 30th, please join us for a fun night of bowling, networking, raffles and so much more. Grab your girls and fellas you can hang with us too as we come together for this great cause. Net proceeds will benefit local breast cancer support groups. In the past we have donated to Susan G. Komen, The American Cancer Society and Beautiful Gate. We look forward to your support. Busy Bees
It is buzzing around our office today and we love it! There are so many great events coming up over the next month. Sporty Mommas will be at Fashion in the Gardens and Sunni Dai's Kid's Fashion Show this weekend. Both events are for great causes. One benefits the public schools of Pinecrest and the other will raise funds for Juvenile Arthritis. Stay tuned for tweets and pics from these fabulous events.

We just held our 2nd Annual Charity Bowling Bash raising funds for breast cancer research and support. People ask why did you start doing that event. Well breast cancer hit close to home about 14 years ago. My Auntie Karen was diagnosed at 32 years old. She was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She battled cancer for 7 years but in 2003 at the young age of 39, she passed away. She left behind a husband and two young sons. She was a true Sporty Momma. Her smile and kindness would light up a room. It has been a while but her spirit lives on.
In honor of Karen and all of the women battling this horrible disease, I will continue to do my part to help the fight against breast cancer. This month 10% of all sales will go to the Sporty Momma's Charitable Fund that was created to assist women and children in need. Be sure to check out our pink and limited edition items.
